This bold coffee shop has taken a stand against human trafficking, encouraging coffee lovers to fight back with every purchase. Located in Sanford, FL, Palate Café greets customers with the fresh aroma of strong, rich coffee–reflecting the strength and conviction of their mission–and yummy homemade baked goods.
Not only does this café serve deliciously smooth espresso, it also offers rich matcha. The matcha is served traditionally, without cutting any corners. The baristas can be seen sifting and whisking the matcha in a ceramic matcha bowl (yay for no clumps!) For their drinks, Palate Coffee Roasters offers Espresso Drinks, Signature Lattes, Coffee, Organic Loose Leaf Tea, and Not Coffee. Under these sections are a wild variety of beautiful drinks including Lavender Honey Latte, Dark Chocolate Pistachio Latte, Traditional Macchiato, Pistachio Matcha, and Sanford Fog. Historically, a real macchiato is made in a small cup using a shot or two of espresso with just a spoonful of milk foam.
For anyone that enjoys a nice dessert with their cup of Joe, not a fret. This coffee shop serves homemade treats and even breakfast meals. Palate Coffee Roasters’ food section includes Sandwiches, Artisan Empanadas by the Gnarly Cuban, Egg Bites, and Homemade Baked Goods (like homemade cinnamon rolls!) There is also an option to preorder a Valentine’s Day items for the lovebirds: Rose Bouquet and Mixed Flower Bouquet.
