If you’re ever in downtown Fort Myers, Ride Nature has one of the best tasting coffees around. A perk about them is the Library is right around the corner, so you can take your coffee to go and read a book–then walk all downtown if you’d like since the library is in the heart of downtown. There’s plenty of parking at Ride Nature, since they have their own lot, so you don’t have to worry about scavanging for a parking spot. If you’re a skater you’ll definitely want to make a stop for coffee here at Ride Nature (and bring your board) as one of their most interesting attractions is that they have a small skate park right outside the back entrance of their shop. I’ve been to Ride Nature several times because it’s convenient for me to pick up some coffee there since it’s only about 5 minutes to my job. If you decide to park in the lot, you’ll go through the back entrance, which is the better choice, in my opinion. You get to walk through a small path toward the back entrance that is filled with plants, lights that hang above, to the right you’ll see the skate park where skaters are always taking advantage of, and above the entrance door hangs some hammocks that is only available on the second floor.

This is not only a coffee shop, as you may have caught on by the mini skate park in the back, but it’s also a shop. They sell skate boards, surf boards, clothes (some that are used in the back, if I’m not mistaken), even skin-care products. The back of the store where they sell used items is worth a look because it’s not only clothes, but they offer shoes, bags, and even some cool knick knacks. They offer one fitting room in there if you need to try anything on. The front of the shop is pretty spacious. There’s a few seats near the window, but if you’d like some privacy away from where people are ordering their drinks, you can go onto the platform and there’s a comfy blue couch and two brown seats in front of the back window with a wooden table in between. Be aware though, they only use to-go cups–no mugs, although I’m sure if you buy one of their cute glass cups that they sell, they would most likely use that if you ask. Don’t worry about this too much though because I love to sit down with my mug in hand as much as the next, but their tasty, rich coffee makes you forget that they don’t even offer mugs!

They have a seasonal drink out now called “Hibiscus Rose Latte”, the rose syrup they use in this latte is house-made and it is magically paired with brown sugar! $5 for a 12 ounce and $5.50 for a 16 ounce. Sadly, they were out of this drink the day I went, so I was not able to try their house-made rose syrup, but I definitely will next time! The drink I ordered, which you can see in the pictures, is a cinnamon brown sugar oat milk latte and I would drink that every day if I could! The seasonal drink is just a tad more expensive than the other lattes. For example, mine (and the other lattes) was $4.45 for a 12 ounce, or you can get a 16 ounce for $5, although I think the 12 ounce is a perfect size. The cold brews and regular coffees are less expensive.

One thing I have noticed every time I order a hot coffee from Ride Nature–it’s warm. You can drink your coffee instantly. It’s the perfect temperature. Usually at most cafes, you need to wait a while until you can even take a sip of your coffee because it is STEAMING, but here at Ride Nature, they pay attention to the temperature on the steamer to make sure it’s at that perfect temperature where you can drink it instantaneously! So, if you’re the type of person who likes to drink their coffee right away but don’t have the patience to wait a few minutes for your drink to cool down, you’ll be extremely happy with Ride Nature’s warm temperatures!
