This is one cafe that deserves all the hype and recognition. Not only for their drinks and their food, but for their incredible service. Cafe Flore is tiny–it takes the cake for being the tiniest cafe I’ve visited. Located in SWFL, Cafe Flore is in a plaza, in-between other restaurants. It may be difficult to spot if you don’t know what you’re looking for because it is so tiny and their cafe name is not on the Pylon sign. The first thing you’ll notice as you walk inside is how clean and simple it is. They have succulents sitting on their tables and plants on their walls, giving meaning to their name. The second thing you’ll notice is their abundance of menus– they have menus galore! One outside their door, another smacked on their back wall (per usual, but they did it beautifully), and plenty in carry sized ones that you can take to a seat and look over it before you’re ready to order. They do use cute mugs if you’re staying to drink and/or eat, so make sure to tell them your coffee isn’t to-go if you want enjoy your coffee in one! The first time I went, I didn’t tell them I was staying, so they gave me the coffee in a to-go cup (which is perfectly fine), but the second time I went I made sure to tell them I was staying because I’m just a sucker for mugs.

Avocado Toast

I ordered an oat milk latte with a spinach, egg, cheese, and mushroom bagel. If you’re ever in SWFL, I highly suggest Cafe Flore and your first food choice order to be a spinach, egg, cheese, and mushroom bagel! I’ve gone twice so far with that same order and I haven’t been disappointed. They make it fresh, so it’ll take a few minutes to cool down, but if you’re anything like me then you can’t wait that long for food so tasty and trust me, you won’t be able to wait the moment you smell that bagel. They offer a variety of options to choose from at this Cafe. They have a breakfast section, espresso based drinks, special coffee drinks, teas, paninis, flatbread pizzas, smoothies, and desserts. The coffee I ordered–oat milk latte– was rich, creamy, and very hot. I also appreciated the latte art! My boyfriend ordered the mocha, which tasted just as good, if not better, because who doesn’t love chocolate?

Spinach, mushroom, egg, and cheese bagel

The prices really aren’t that bad when you think about the quality of everything that you’re receiving–service included. Also, keep in mind that the portion is a good size as well, you won’t need to eat again until your next meal. The bagel I ordered is only $6.50! Their crepes are $8.00. I haven’t tried the crepes yet, but it’s posted on their social media account and they look incredible! That’ll be my next order next time I go! A regular latte is $4.50, as is their mocha, so if you have a craving for something chocolatey, it won’t cost you extra to add some in there. The most expensive item on their menu is the flatbread pizza (which is as expected) at the price of $10.00.

Generosity Brownies

This is one cafe I would suggest not missing out on if you live in the area or just visiting. The guys who work there will make you want to return! The first time I visited Cafe Flore, my boyfriend and I were greeted by some free brownies made generously by them! It was really kind of them to give us free brownies (which tasted amazing, by the way!), it really warmed my heart (and my stomach) when I saw one of the guys coming over to us with two plates that had brownies sitting on top. It was very unexpected and I’ve never experienced such generosity at a cafe. Do yourself a favor and stop by to support this small business! Cafe Flore will leave you wanting more!
