“Bakery • Coffee • Vibes” is this cafe’s slogan that is plastered right below their name on the building. Flower coffee shop in Orlando, has what you would expect–an abundance of flowers and plants which decorates the entirety of this cafe. This is one of the biggest cafe’s I’ve visited (I’ve definitely said that before in a previous article, but this cafe beats that size). Usually, the cafe’s I’ve visited have felt very “mom and ‘pops'”, but this one had some industrial “vibes”. This cafe is spacious! All their tables and booths (yes, booths!) are up against the wall and windows, which gives the place a grand view, leaving the center ultimately empty other than plants here and there. Flower cafe has these beautiful hanging lights that only shine dimly, giving the coffee shop a glow to the appearance of a sunflower, giving truth to their name. They don’t need much light anyway because of their appealing window walls. The nice thing about their location is that they are inside of a little town center, and a fun water park, so once you’re finished with your coffee, you can walk around the center or prepare your day to have fun in the sun and the water!

This cafe is more on the pricier side, so make sure you have enough money before coming here, especially if you’re paying for yourself and others. Flower cafe offers sandwiches, salads, soups, bowls + oats, and pastries. For drinks, they serve coffee, smoothies, and teas.

I ordered the chicken avocado club (which is the priciest sandwich on the menu at a whopping $12). They give you a small salad with your order free of charge. My boyfriend, on the other hand, drifted more toward the sweet section and ordered a pastry instead. He got a slice of key lime pie. If you’re a fan of key lime pie I highly suggest ordering a slice from Flower cafe because at that moment he was more in love with that pie than me! The price ranges for the sandwiches go from $6-$12. For salads, the price ranges between $10-$11. For the soup of the day, as well as bowls + oats, it is $5.99. Smoothies range from $10-$11. Coffee’s range from $4-$5 without any added extra espresso shots or non-dairy milks, remember anything extra added will cost more. And finally, teas. They range from $2-$3.

Now, for the best part–coffee! I ordered an oat milk latte. They did some cute latte art in my cup in the shape of a heart, which I greatly appreciated, and swooned over (my boyfriend didn’t get art in his so I teased him for it). They can’t do three shots due to their espresso shot glasses. They don’t have single shot glasses, only doubles. Therefore, if you are exhausted and need those extra shots, it’s 4 shots or the regular double shot. Be aware, only drink up to 1-6 espresso shots a day for your health, nothing more. So, head on over to Flower cafe and grab yourself a cup of coffee, and if you’re up for it, make your way over to the water park that is right across from this blossoming cafe and enjoy the rest of your day in the sun!
