This family-owned café treats everyone who enters as a regular, even if you’re only visiting the area for a short amount of time. Daddy Cate’s Coffee has been located in historic downtown Brunswick, Georgia, since 2002. Upon entering this homey coffee shop, the owners and baristas greet you with a welcome that would make anyone want to come back for a cup of Joe the following morning. Daddy Cate’s Coffee takes pride in their little café and wants others to join in on their joy with every cup of coffee (and pastry!)

Espresso!

Daddy Cate’s Coffee offers an interesting selection of drinks, including unique espresso smoothies! This café serves Hot Coffee (Drip, Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, and Espresso), Cold Coffee (Iced Coffee, Cold Brew, Iced Latte, and Cafe Frio), Specialty, and Non-Coffee. The Specialty selections they offer are Chai Latte, Mocha, London Fog, Honey Badger Vanilla Berry Latte, Smores Latte, Hazelnut White Mocha, and Caramel Coconut Latte. This café also has sugar-free flavor shots available for those who want a sweet treat but can’t indulge in sugar! Those sugar-free syrups include Vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut, and Toasted Marshmallow!

Unique Smoothies & Homemade Pastries

Daddy Cate’s Coffee offers unique drink options! One that surprised me was a smoothie with espresso (don’t knock it ’til you try it!). The strawberry smoothie itself wasn’t very thick, but it was pink and delicious! Although caffeinated smoothies aren’t listed on their main menus, you can definitely witness them in-store. This coffee shop also serves quality pastries made the day of, so you’re sure to eat fresh bakes made with love. We weren’t sure which pastry to try (as they all looked so tasty), so the owner picked for us: coffee cake. And once we tried it, we couldn’t help but buy two!

Family Pride

This welcoming coffee shop has walls lined with photographs and memories of the family. Wherever you sit, you’ll read and see memories through their eyes. Daddy Cate’s Coffee is closed every Sunday and open 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday.
