Fancy deserts galore! If it’s your first time at French Press cafe– it can be easy to miss for first-comers (but I may just be bad with directions)! This cafe is by the water which is the perfect location for the early mornings. The wide-open windows are an easy access to sit with your warm cup of Joe and watch the calm. The best part of sight-seeing at The French Press (besides the water) are the dogs. I lost count at all the different types of dogs that passed by! Small, big, furry, hairless– some were running or walking, others were in a stroller. You can make it a game– spot the dogs. Walking inside, the deserts caught my eye. Norman Love chocolates are on display at The French Press in an elegant design. Small doesn’t exist when it comes to this cafe– and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

You can get any drink in a mug, don’t worry. I noticed too late before ordering (cue: plastic cup)! Their mugs sit on top of their espresso machine! Just ask for one and the barista will be more than welcoming to prepare your drink in one. The French Press’ aesthetic distracted me for far too long to notice I never asked for a mug. As for pricing… it’s pretty affordable. Initially, I thought it would have been a wallet-eater because of how fancy and aesthetically-pleasing this cafe is– but it’s doable! A perfect date idea if you don’t want to break the bank. A place to dress-up and freshen-up with a latte. The French Press offers a wide range of (witty) specialty drinks. You have the option of ordering it Hot, Cold, or Blended. Be wary though, whatever you order from the speciality drinks section– only comes in a size 16 oz.

This cafe offers Coffee, Tea Time, Brunch, GF Crepes, Smoothies, Breakfast, Lunch, and Gelato. They provide a choice of any gelato (yum) as part of their specialty drinks (along with an espresso shot), and it is still the same price as the other drinks that don’t offer a scoop of gelato, so get it while it’s cold! Now, for the moment you’ve been waiting for (drum roll noises)… the list of speciality drinks!

Dirty Banana – Chocolate & Banana Puree ($4.50)

Snicker Doodle – Vanilla & Cinnamon ($4.50)

Filthy Coconut – Chocolate & Coconut ($4.50)

White Elephant – White Chocolate & Praline ($4.50)

French Kiss – Hazelnut & Caramel Syrup ($4.50)

Affogato – Gelato of Choice + Shot of Espresso ($4.50)

The French Press sells their own ground coffee as well. They have both grounded and whole beans. If you’re someone like me who doesn’t own a grinder (yet), then you’re better off with grounded coffee. But if you have a grinder at home and love to grind your own coffee beans– then The French Press offers just that for you. They sell Jamaican ground (or whole bean) coffee, Organic Java, and specialty coffee like Peppermint. I bought the Jamaican coffee as a gift for my mom and it smelled incredible– but apparently it tastes even better! So, if you’re looking for a gift for a fellow coffee lover– The French Press Cafe has some great options. And as always– consume coffee with caution. Limit your intake to two espresso shots per day for your health… and savor it!
