Known as Naples’ hidden gem, Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge is a special one at that. With live music and a pet-friendly environment, you’ll find all you need at this gem of a café. The women-owned coffee lounge offers as much organic ingredients as they can– even the mangos are hand-picked by the crew when in season! Living off a plant-based diet can be tough when trying to find a café in the early mornings that offers plant-based options… to my surprise, Bean to Cup has more than enough to offer. Everything on their menu can be turned vegan, they even offer vegan desserts (and plenty of it!).

For their drinks, Beans to Cup has all you can think of when it comes to coffee. One item from their menu that caught my eye was Yerba Mate Latte (something I haven’t seen on any menu thus far). Yerba Mate is essentially an herbal tea, with a pretty high caffeine content. In an average cup of Yerba Mate Latte, the caffeine content is 78mg, compared to 85mg for a cup of coffee. Yerba Mate does have several positive health benefits, however, if you’re sensitive to caffeine, it may be best to stick to other teas such as Matcha tea– which is offered here.

This café has gluten-free and vegan options, so if you have any dietary restrictions, this is the place for you! Beans to Cup offers Hot Pressed Sandwiches, Toast and Bagels, and For the Kids (no judgement will come to any adults who order from it). Most of these bites contain cheese, but you can easily switch it for vegan cheese if need be (which is what I did)! And if you’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth in the morning, this cafe offers many desserts (MANY!), and several of them are vegan. Grab a sugary bite (or two), and enjoy with your cup of java.

Plant Swap! Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge involves itself with the community by participating in a plant swap hosted by them right inside their café. So far, they’ve hosted three plant swaps, the last one being in late January. If you’re not familiar with how a plant swap works, you basically bring a plant to trade, or you can bring a $5 donation to take a plant home. Bean to Cup opens Monday through Friday with specific hours. Monday to Friday 7am-3pm. On Saturday 8am-3pm. And lastly, on Sunday, 8am-2pm. You’re also welcome to go out the back door with your coffee into their waterfront backyard patio, so bring your pups and enjoy the breeze!
