Moore Coffee Shop
It was a cold and gloomy day in March and what doesn’t make you feel better on a cold and gloomy day other than drinking a warm cup of coffee? Not only that–but a warm cup of coffee with cute foam art in the shape of animals! The moment you step foot inside of Moore, leaving behind the frosty wind from the outside, a rush of warmth hits your nose, cheeks, and hands followed by the smell of roasted coffee and hot chocolate. Elegant chairs beside the entrance (more for decoration than usage), and right next to it–an antique table with to-go lids, sugars, and creamer sitting on top of it. A step down into the lounge area, where you sit to drink your coffee, is a panini stand! In that same room, is a giant portrait of Frida Kahlo. The entire shop is enclosed with the sound of Spanish music. As someone who is Hispanic, I recommend any Hispanic/Latinos who are traveling to a not-so-familiar place, to visit Moore which gives off a sense of familiarity where you can lounge and relax. If you can’t tell by the size of the mugs in my pictures, believe me when I say, the size of the mugs are ginormous! For the price of what you get–it’s really such a steal! For two coffees it was around $12 (tip included).
I’ve been to Seattle twice now and during those times I’ve tried multiple coffee shops and each time I’ve found myself back to Moore Coffee shop. For anyone who is visiting Seattle, WA or anyone who is planning on visiting– I will always vouch for this coffee shop and guarantee the enjoyment in the experience and taste. You can’t beat the price for the quality AND quantity you’re getting for your coffee. They are also known for their latte art, so with every drink you order, you’ll receive a surprise in your foam!
