If you ever find yourself driving through the mountains of Naranjito, Puerto Rico, make a point to stop by Café Shalom. It’s a small, family-run coffee truck parked along a quiet stretch of mountain road. One of my favorite details is the tables, which are built from barrels and old wheels. They add a creative touch and give the place its own personality. The view itself is unforgettable, and it’s made even richer by the people around you.

Café Shalom & Más serves Coffee, Creams, Sandwiches, Breakfast and Brunch, and Sides. For everyone’s favorite segment—coffee! This café offers Double Espresso, Americano, Latte, Traditional Cappuccino, Mocha, Hot Chocolate, Chai Latte, Dirty Chai, Iced Coffee, and Matcha. All the drinks are served with homemade whipped cream (and sprinkles, if you so desire!). I ordered an oat milk latte with whipped cream and sprinkles, and the drink did not disappoint.

Café Shalmon & Más also serves food. I had the Classic Croissant, which went well with the coffee. This café is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to noon. If you’re after a light bite or a caffeine boost, come by early and take in the view while you sip.
